Click the gallery for the full tapestry, Verdure- with Deer and Coat of Arms, a stunning reproduction of the third tapestry in the Holy Grail series, woven by Burne-Jones and William Morris in 1895-6.

Depicting shields hung in the trees representing Knights of the Round Table, who have entered the forest in search of the mystical Holy Grail. The shields of the Knigths shown include Sir Gawaine, Sir Lancelot and Sir Galahad.

The original hangs in the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.
